Diaphragm Seals for Corrosive, Viscous or Pasty Fluids
Overview
This type of gauge is ideal for measuring pressure of fluids that are strong acid or alkaline, highly viscous, or contain suspended solids. Example fields of application are industries such as chemical, petrochemical, paper manufacturing, and food.
Features
A diaphragm is provided between fluid to be measured and a gauge and the space between them is filled with incompressible special liquid as the pressure medium. Therefore, the fluid to be measured only contacts the diaphragm through which it acts on the pressure gauge.
Two types of connection, screw method and flange, are available as standard, however, we provide specially designed methods to meet customer needs.
- Suitable for measuring fluids that have strong corrosiveness.
- Suitable for measuring fluids that easily coagulate.
- Suitable for measuring fluids that contain suspended solids.
- Suitable for measuring fluids that have high viscosity.
